The objective of the Paramedic Training Program is to train Emergency Medical
Technicians as Georgia Certified Paramedics. The course is based on the U.S.
Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines for Paramedic Course curriculum.
The program is divided into four 125 hour modules followed by 360 hours of
clinical rotations. (860 contact hours). A Paramedic student must be a Certified
EMT (Basic) prior to being accepted for Paramedic training
