Histotechnicians prepare tissue specimens for examination and diagnosis by pathologists. These tissue sections enable the pathologist to diagnose body dysfunction and malignancy.

Radiation Therapists prepare patients for radiation treatment, position patients under a linear accelerator, and administer pre-prescribed doses of ionizing radiation to specific parts of the body. They may also assist in treatment planning, patient support and care, and brachytherapy.

Practices of Human Needs and Communications, Infection Control and Safety
Measures, Body Mechanics, Vital Signs, Patient Care, Special Care, and Body
Systems. The Patient Care Technician Program will place an emphasis on the
application of knowledge and Physical Care/Psychosocial skills in a classroom
and clinical setting. Included in this program is an externship which provides
the student the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a health care setting
