The
Medical
Assisting
program
prepares
graduates
for
a
wide
degree
of
day-to-day
challenges.
Courses
in
this
program
include:
Clinical
Medical
Assisting,
Medical
Terminology,
Hematology
and
Serology,
Urinalysis
and
Microbiology
and
Pharmacology.
The
College
Medical
Assisting
program
is
accredited
by
the
Commission
on
Accreditation
of
Allied
Health
Education
Programs
(CAAHEP)
and
all
graduates
are
able
to
sit
for
the
Certified
Medical
Assistant
exam
upon
graduation.
Many
of
our
campuses
are
certified
testing
centers.
In
addition
to
the
principle
course
of
study,
students
in
this
program
will
receive
a
background
in
computers,
business
organization,
and
administrative
medical
assisting.
This
program
gives
the
graduate
the
training
that
is
necessary
to
enter
many
diverse
medical
settings
to
include:
doctors'
offices,
insurance
companies,
hospitals,
legal
offices,
laboratories
and
medical
research
firms.
The
Medical
Assisting
program
is
accredited
by
the
Commission
on
Accreditation
of
Allied
Health
Education
Programs
(CAAHEP)
on
recommendation
of
the
Curriculum
Review
Board
of
the
American
Association
of
Medical
Assistants
Endowment
(AAMAE).
